This past weekend while at Target I found a copy of Final Fantasy for the PSP marked down to $10. I couldn’t help myself and bought it on the spot. This would only make the 4th copy I own of this game, and for some reason I have found myself taking time each day to play the game. In the week that has past I am almost finished with the game, just one crystal left and then its off to the Temple of Chaos. I didn’t think I would actually take the time and play this far into the game, but the enhanced graphics make it feel like a new game.

It was released about 3 years ago for the 20th Anniversary of the series along side FF2 for the psp and FF4 for the DS. Both of which I hunted down copies of this past week, and are awaiting me to play them as well.

I finally bought a copy of Final Fantasy Dissociation this week. I had been holding off waiting for the price to drop, but I just couldn’t wait any longer. I know most people hate the fact that the glen has no online play. Personally I hate online play when it comes to fighting games. The other players are always so much better than me, and I find myself loosing repeatedly. I think the game is excellent. Everything is fairly straight forward except I think I missed the explanation on how story mode works. Considering it release date I don’t understand why there are no FF12 characters in the game. I really enjoy the game and wish I had bought it sooner.

I have finished adding all of the content from the old website. While the old content is sparse, at least it allows for something to be here until new content is created.

I have finished adding the content from the old website on Final Fantasy VII. The only thing I have left out is the music page, and the midi’s that were on that page. I don’t plan on adding any type of music files for any games, but if someone asks for it I might consider it.

Today, after nearly 3 years I am finally launching the new versions of my Final Fantasy site. I started work in 2007 on this redesign, and dropped it after a trial of program I was relying on ended. Since that time I have become very experienced in the Wordpress platform, and decided it would be a perfect application for my Final Fantasy website.This site has never been a priority, and more of a page for my personal reference.

The original site was hosted by, the now defunct, Geocities, and was born in 1999.  The site sprung from my obsession with Final Fantasy VII, and as my interest in the series grew so did the site. The title of the site was originally Matt’s Final Fantasy VII, then changed to Matt’s Final Fantasy after adding VIII and V, and has finally changed to Final Fantasy Legends as I plan to add content for the entire series.

As I said this site has never been a true priority. However, with the use of Wordpress I will be able to add content faster than I have been able to in the past, and it will frankly be easier. I also plan to have friends aid in the addition of content to the site.

So here we go with this fresh start!
